About the Art:
Intrigued by the study of symbolism and Talisman, where our desires, intentions and goals are held and expressed in a physical way, I have created a body of work with a look and feel that is beyond adornment. Oregon’s lush forests and vibrant, mystery filled ocean is the primary inspiration for the line and raw texture reflected in my designs.
Through the fabrication of precious metals and the attachment of meaningful stones, crystal, fossils and other organic bits, I employ ancient symbols of protection, inner strength, joy and compassion to create Talismanic jewelry that is spirit filled, organic and a little bit Bohemian. During these turbulent times, these are the attributes I want to manifest through my art.
