About the Art
I am inspired by the beauty I find in the world around me, whether it is a rusted car or desert sunrise.
My wooden pieces highlight the beauty in wood with flowing forms and smooth finishes. They want to be held. Many of the pieces include pewas of contrasting wood to highlight and accentuate the natural flaws in the wood. I love the wabi sabi philosophy of celebrating the imperfections that existing in the world.
