About the Art:
After working with ceramic and fiber, I transitioned to metalsmithing 26 years ago. My work and inspiration mirror my surroundings, both natural and urban. I like to play with contrast in the combination of colors and textures while creating organic as well as geometric forms. I work primarily with silver with gold accents, and my techniques range from forming , forging and fabricating to working in wax for casting. It is my aim to create comfortable, artistic jewelry that will become a special and unique piece to cherish and wear with joyful confidence.
