History
LOCAL 14 (Lake Oswego Crafts and Art League) has offered scholarships since its inception in 1974. The Lake Oswego Crafts and Art League Educational Foundation, a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation, was created to insure the continuance of art scholarships to deserving students. The scholarship awards are awarded to woman artists working on college level art courses.
In 2009, A total of $6000 was awarded to 3 students
Funding
The Educational Foundation derives it's revenues from several sources: members dues, 50%of the entrance admission to our annual show and sale, wine sales other than the opening night and donations from the public." Contributions to the Educational Foundation are tax deductible. Donations can be directed to current scholarship funding or to the scholarship Endowment Fund.
